Last Thursday, American Eagle Outfitters' new 77Kids children's wear division marked its online debut, launching sales of its holiday collections. The kids' wear spans sportswear, denim, outerwear, shoes and accessories for boys and girls sizes 2 to 12, and the Pittsburgh-based company offers free shipping and returns for online orders.
Along with the e-commerce launch, 77Kids is hosting an exclusive Jonas Brothers concert on Nov. 16, which it will broadcast live on its Web site. American Eagle held a contest through Oct. 4, and the winners—seven girls and seven boys—will attend the concert in person. American Eagle plans to open brick-and-mortar 77Kids stores in 2009.
