Skater turned Mommy, Natasha Levin, is the name behind the innovative and edgy clothing line called Micro Me (also known as M2). Australian-based label, Black Eyed Susie, is one of our recent discoveries in the wonderful world of Etsy shops. The girls clothing line began when designer Susan Dryburgh began sewing beautiful pieces out of love for her daughter Chloe. People began to take notice of her unique vintage fabrics and retro-styling…and thus Black Eyed Susie was born.
What is most appealing about the clothing line is its strong contrast from the pink frilliness of typical little girls clothing. Using simple garments as a backdrop, the vibrant vintage fabrics are able to stand out and shine. Each piece of clothing is hand cut and machine sewn by Susan herself to produce one-of-a-kind items you won’t see on other children.
